Thanks to the automatic Con@ctivity function, the ventilation hood can communicate with the cooktop below: The settings selected on the cooktop are transmitted to the controls on the hood. Your Miele Ventilation Hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting, ensuring the optimum room climate at all times. Communication is established between the ventilation hood and cooktop via WiFi.

Delayed shutdown

The automatic blower run-on ensures the full vented of steam and odors still in the air after cooking. The ventilation hood can be set to switch off automatically after 5 or 15 minutes.

filter saturation indicator

If the grease or active charcoal filter of your ventilation hood(s) is saturated, the red LED indicator will light up. Your filter should then be cleaned or replaced as soon as possible. You can individually adjust the factory-set service life of the filters: The grease filter saturation indicator can be programmed for 20, 30, 40 or 50 hours, the indicator for active charcoal filter replacement for 120, 180 or 240 hours.

SmartControl

With its color and operating principle, the new, elegant Miele touch control perfectly matches Miele Cooktops. When switched off, only the On/Off icon is visible. Moreover, only the active settings are brightly illuminated; all others are dimmed. Basic functions, such as the run-on time, can be conveniently set at the touch of a finger. Perfect for use with Con@ctivity and the Miele app.

Safety turn off

The ventilation hood will switch off automatically after 10 hours. This ensures maximum safety even in case of operating errors.

Con@ctivity 3.0

Concentrate fully on cooking: With Con@ctivity 3.0, your ventilation hood always knows exactly what to do. When the cooktop is switched on or off, the ventilation hood reacts automatically, adapting the extraction power to what’s happening on the cooktop and thus maintaining a pleasant room climate. The appliances communicate with each other via Wi-Fi. Con@ctivity 3.0 allows you to integrate the ventilation hood and cooktop into Miele@home

Stainless-steel grease filters (10-layer)

Miele Ventilation Hoods are equipped with a 10-ply stainless-steel grease filter and guarantee a high-level of grease removal. During removal, the integrated fall protection ensures safe handling and protects your cooktop against damage. The top layer and the filter frame are made of high-quality stainless steel, meaning that there is no visible discoloration as a result of dishwasher cleaning and it retains its sleek appearance for a long time.

Miele CleanCover

Located behind the grease filters is the Miele CleanCover: Instead of sharp metal edges and electrical components you will find only a sealed, smooth surface. The CleanCover is also particularly easy to clean. Miele care and attention down to the very last detail for greater safety and convenience.
