Description

Scotsman's XSafe® uses high power UVGI light to create a highly reactive mixture of oxygen which is continuously circulated in the air throughout the ice machine. The treated air passes over exposed components inhibiting the growth of viruses and bacteria. This mixture is passed through the food zone of the ice maker where ice is being produced, helping protect ice machine surfaces and the surrounding environment. This sanitizing mixture also travels into the bin to help protect the ice already produced.
