The point Bosch is known for is quiet operation, and it comes from the engineering rather than a single part. Multiple layers of insulation, a grindless filtration system that avoids the noise of a food disposer, and a precisely built pump let the higher models run near 40 decibels, quiet enough to fade into an open kitchen. In the upper lines, a drying method called CrystalDry uses a natural mineral to convert heat and pull moisture off hard-to-dry plastics, improving results without a heating element that could warp them. The third rack, branded MyWay, adds a shallow top level for utensils and small items so the two lower racks hold more. A leak-protection system watches for water on the base and shuts the supply if it finds it. Together these are why the dishwashers carry the brand's reputation.
